1. The RoomGetaway platform

RoomGetaway is an online platform that helps Guests discover selected hotels and resorts and connect directly with them.

RoomGetaway does not provide accommodation services and does not operate or manage the hotels listed on the platform.

RoomGetaway acts as an intermediary platform that facilitates contact between Guests and Hotels.

2. Book Direct

RoomGetaway offers a “Book Direct” function.

When you select “Book Direct” and submit the booking form, you are sending a booking request to the selected Hotel through RoomGetaway.

Your request is then forwarded to the Hotel, which will contact you directly to confirm availability and arrange your stay.

Submitting a booking request through RoomGetaway does not automatically mean that your accommodation has been confirmed.

The Hotel is responsible for confirming the reservation directly with you.

3. Your booking with the Hotel

Once the Hotel contacts you, you and the Hotel will agree on the final details of your stay.

These may include:

• room availability;
• final room price;
• payment method;
• payment deadline;
• cancellation and amendment conditions;
• check-in and check-out times;
• additional charges or taxes;
• any other conditions relating to your stay;

The accommodation contract is concluded directly between you and the Hotel.

RoomGetaway is not a party to that accommodation contract.

4. Payment for your accommodation

RoomGetaway does not collect payment from Guests for accommodation.

Any payment for your room, including the room price, taxes, fees or other charges, is made directly to the Hotel according to the payment terms agreed between you and the Hotel.

RoomGetaway does not process or hold money relating to your accommodation booking.

5. Hotel responsibility

The Hotel is solely responsible for the accommodation and services it provides to you.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• the availability of the room;
• the accuracy of the accommodation information;
• the quality and condition of the accommodation;
• the services offered by the Hotel;
• the final price and applicable charges;
• payment and invoicing;
• cancellation and amendment conditions;
• check-in and check-out;
• your stay at the Hotel;

Any questions, changes, cancellations or complaints relating to your confirmed stay should be addressed directly to the Hotel.

6. RoomGetaway responsibility

RoomGetaway provides the platform and facilitates communication between you and the Hotel.

While we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and up-to-date information, some information displayed on the platform is provided by the Hotels themselves.

RoomGetaway is therefore not responsible for the Hotel's accommodation, services, facilities, pricing, availability or performance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

7. Information you provide

When submitting a Book Direct request, you may be asked to provide information such as:

• your name;
• email address;
• telephone number;
• requested dates;
• number of guests;
• preferred room type;
• other information necessary to process your request;

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

The information you provide may be shared with the relevant Hotel so that the Hotel can respond to your request and arrange your accommodation.

8. Guest communication

After you submit a Book Direct request, the Hotel may contact you directly regarding your request.

Further communication concerning the reservation, including confirmation, payment, changes or cancellation, will normally take place directly between you and the Hotel.

RoomGetaway may contact you where necessary in connection with your use of the platform or your request.

9. Cancellation and changes

Cancellation and amendment conditions are determined by the Hotel and should be agreed directly with the Hotel.

If you wish to cancel or change a confirmed reservation, you should contact the Hotel using the contact details provided to you.

RoomGetaway cannot guarantee that a cancellation or change will be accepted by the Hotel.

Any cancellation fees or other charges are determined by the Hotel according to the terms agreed between you and the Hotel.

10. Hotel information

Hotels are responsible for the information they provide to RoomGetaway.

RoomGetaway aims to present useful and accurate information about participating Hotels, but hotel information, prices and availability may change.

The final accommodation details are confirmed directly by the Hotel.

11. Your use of RoomGetaway

You agree to use RoomGetaway lawfully and provide truthful information when submitting a booking request.

You must not:

• provide false or misleading information;
• submit requests using another person's identity without permission;
• misuse the platform;
• interfere with the operation or security of the platform;
• use the platform for fraudulent or unlawful purposes;

12. Platform availability

RoomGetaway will use reasonable efforts to keep the platform available and operational.

However, we cannot guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted or free from technical errors.

Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical problems, security measures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

13. Intellectual property

The RoomGetaway website, platform, design, branding, text, graphics and other original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the platform for your personal and lawful purposes.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit RoomGetaway content without prior written permission.

14. Privacy

Personal information submitted through RoomGetaway is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

When you submit a Book Direct request, the information necessary to process your request is shared with the relevant Hotel.

The Hotel is responsible for its own processing of your personal data after receiving your request and must comply with applicable data protection laws.

15. Changes to these Terms

RoomGetaway may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, our services or applicable legal requirements.

The latest version will always be available on the RoomGetaway website.

Where required by applicable law, material changes will be communicated to you.

16. Governing law

These Terms are subject to the law applicable to your use of the RoomGetaway platform, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer.
